a salaried person receiving rent from his shop is income from property or business income ?
and income from property linker ?

Normal the shop rent is income from other sources unless and until you buy shops and make them available for rent.

Income from property, being building or land, appurtenant there to, of which the assesse is the owner, will be charged to tax under the head "Income from house property".

shop is in the house and given on rent.
