Holi is joyous festival. It symbolizes the victory of 'good' over 'evil. Holi festival reminds us numerous scenes viz., rubbing gulal on each others face, sharp flow from Pitchkari, colouring air with powdery gulal, spread of rang from faces to fences, eating and feeding mithais and gujiya, voicing ‘Bura Na Mano Holi Hai’ in loud tone and gulping glasses of thandai from time to time. Friends, family and relatives greet each other and play the colourful holi. It is a day to celebrate, socialize with loved ones and get coloured in hues of holi from head to toe.
