24 December 2008My Client(not technically qualified person) gets software project from one person (Service Tax Collected) and outsources fully to other person(Service Tax Paid). Whether Service Tax collected and paid can be adjusted. If possible, any registration required with CBEC, if so what is the procedure?

You can take credit of the service tax paid by you and such credit can be utilised for payment of services tax by you.
You are required to be registered with Service Tax.
