Pay GST at 5% based on the transportation expense and payment made to the GTA. Avail credit if it is related to a taxable supply.

After amendment you will need to confirm from your GTA whether he is in forward charge or functioning under Reverse charge. If it cannot be confirmed then pay GST on RCM and take ITC

In this case, Transporter is a very small firm who issues Consignment note for name sake who has not charged any tax or declared any RCM and did not upload it to the portal as RCM. But the recipient debited it as transportation without giving any tax effect.
