19 July 2017i purchsed raw material. received bill of transporter today.
now i know that i need to 5% gst under rcm on gta.
i want to know that 5% gst under rcm on gta i have to pay it today or at the time of filling return??
i also want to know that whether i will have to issue self invoice for rcm on gta.
and if yes, how please explain.

You are right you have to pay 5% GST on freight that means when you book the entry of freight(expense) in your books, your liability arises to pay GST.
So book GST payable in your books and you will have to pay it before filing the return.

You will have to raise a self invoice, the details of which will be entered in return.

can you provide me a sample of self invoice
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
