if Goods Transport Agency is a private limited, while issuing invoice to customer . As per my knowledge abatment not applicabl either GTA or customer

As per Notification No. 13/2012 abatement is allowed and Service Tax is payable only on 25% of the gross amount charged.The only condition mentioned in the Notification is "the Service provider has not taken any CENVAT credit on inputs and capital goods and input services,used for providing Taxable Services,under the provision of CENVAT Credit Rules,2004.

Dear Prabhat sir, so if the service provider hasn't taken cenvat credit for providing taxable service, 25% abtement is not applicable to Service Receiptent.
