GSTR9 Penalty

Below ₹ 2 crore for the FY 2027-18.He/She filed tahe GSTR9 after 31-12-2019.Arise any penalty provided in this case.

You cannot file after due date as it's deemed to be filed.

As per Notification No. 47/2019 - CT, dated 09.10.2019, If Annual Return is not filed within the prescribed due dates of FY 2017-18 & FY 2018-19, then it would be deemed to be filed within the DUE DATE.
Also a Circular was issued to clarify the doubts regarding Notification No. 47/2019 - CT, dated 09.10.2019 i.e. Circular No. 124/2019, CT dated 18.11.2019, which clearly clarifies that the Registered Person whose Aggregate Turnover is less than Rs. 2 crore will "not be allowed to file FORM GSTR-9 after the due dates" .
