as per new rule of gst itc claim .
wanted to knw whether we can claim itc of prior month missed invoice for example invoice of Aug sep 19 ..
and for calculating the 20 % extra as per new rule ..got confused as in my system got invoices of oct and prior months too
so my question 20 percent of itc on Portal to be checked with only
The ITC of August month invoices can be claimed, as sub-rule 4 in Rule 36 of CGST Rules, 2017 (prescribing new terminology for claiming ITC in GSTR-3B) has been inserted vide Notification No. 49/2019-CT dated 09.10.2019 accordingly will impact ITC in respect of supplies received on or after that date. As the law is always prospectively not retrospectively unless specific mentioned.
