Yes but the main issue is the fragility of the GSTN portal. Nearly two years, and still the system is frequently going haywire.
Every software system needs stability and complete testing to weed out all possible bugs. But frequent changes and amendments are responsible for making things difficult for the GSTN.
Instead of torturing return filers every month, they should ensure that their site functions without glitches and not crashes every month. It is the GSTN who should enhance the capacity of their servers, and the taxpayers are not supposed to queue for fulfilling their statutory obligations halting their daily chores. Till such time, the due dates for all returns should be liberally set.
