GSTR2A figures not updated in GSTR 9

Hi, kindly assist on GSTR 2A ITC figures not updated in GSTR 9 (8)

Eg - A supplier has filed his returns after 31-Mar-19 for FY 2017-18, and ITC amount is shown in GSTR 2A but the updated figure is not shown in GSTR 9 under tile 8(A).

How shall we show the ITC from suppliers, who has filed returns after 31-Mar-19 for FY 17-18 in Annual Return.

If you have bills and all the Mandatory evidence then you have to claime the ITC as per books

Such invoices where the supplier has filed returns after the 31 march 2019 the figures would be updated till May month in Annual returns.

There would be difference between 2A total and Totals as per annual return figures.

As given in press release, table 8 is mere information and would not be taken up adversely by dept.

You can rely on actual invoices dated 2017-18 and avail credit let it be difference. Keep Reconciliation statement for such difference disclosed in GSTR9 Table 8.

you haven't to declare those differences anywhere in GSTR-9

there is no table to declare those figures in GSTR-9 you have to mention the figures only if you are taking credit in next FY

If you have claimed in GSTR3B then that would be fine. Difference mentioned above is referring to Table 8D which is auto-calculated if your 3B is correct.
