GSTR1 - E-invoice was not auto populated, added manually, but ITC credit not showing buyer's gstr3B.

Problem:

One sale bill (E-invoice) not showed in GSTR1 - Auto populated sheet, reason shown was - Auto Population failed,

Error message showed this - Document already present with same document number in same period.

Facts:

This bill was e-invoiced properly, IRN was generated properly,

GSTR1 filed this way to resolve:

Added this bill manually with different invoice number in GSTR1, without IRN number (because if you add any new bill, you have to add it without IRN number in GSTR1)

Now this bill added manually does not appear in buyers ITC, buyer is following us to add this bill, so that he can claim ITC, how to add this bill in GSTR 1 filed, so that Buyer can claim ITC.

This bill appear in GSTR1 filed by us, but without IRN number.

But not appearing in auto-populated ITC of buyer.

Please guide.

Quick Summary

If an e-invoice is not auto-populated in GSTR-1 and added manually without IRN, it may not reflect in buyer�s GSTR-2B/ITC properly. ITC appears only when GSTR-1 is correctly filed within due date and invoice is properly reported. Late or modified entries may shift to next period.

If the invoice is reported in Form GSTR-1 and the same is filed on or before 13th of the succeeding month, the same will reflect in Form GSTR-2B of the recipient.

If the same is not reflecting, kindly cross check whether such invoice is reported in GSTR-1 and the same is filed within due date. If the same is filed after the due date, it will reflect in Form GSTR-2B of recipient in next month.

If the disclosure is correct and GSTR-1 filed within due date. Ask your recipient to re-generate Form GSTR-2B again.
