For Goods Returned in Aug 17 I have issued A Credit Note to the party. Party has also raised Tax Invoice showing goods returned as sold to me.
GSTR1 till September 17 already filed. How to resolve this issue. Can Credit issued and already shown in Aug GSTR1 be cancelled and Tax Invoice entered as Purchase in Aug???

by using amend option in gstr1 you can enter the credit notes

d j marketing - ref section 34 - adjustment doc such as credit or debit note can only be issued by supplier. client cannot issue any doc except in case of return of material purchased 6 months before GST date and returned within 6 months of GST. ref transitional provisions. do msg me personally to reply to ur query if it's unresolved
