Gstr return

Return 166 views 2 replies

Our company paying rent of Rs. 15,00,000/- ( incl. Gst 18%). But the rent not paid from November 2017 onwards, but the lessor were giving monthly rent invoice to our company and they file GSTR 1. We are not claiming the IPT for the rent invoice in GSTR3B. While checking our GSTR 2A the rent invoice can see. So is it possible to claim the IPT of rent after 6 or 7 months depending upon the  due amount payment. If GST CELL notice this offense, what are the subsequences. Please explain.

Yes you can take input of last six or seven month.

You can take credit. For invoice of given finance year you can claim credit till you file monthly return of Aug of subsequent financial year
