gstr 9 due date
pls advise due date for gstr 9 and gstr 9a ,annual returns 2017 2018 as i heard its extended to 31 aug 2019 but on website its showing 30 june

Yes, it had extended till 31.8.19
yes in terms of Rod 6/2019 , extended to 31/8/2019

CA Portal provides all the specific details of GSTR 9 annual return form due date for the regular taxpayer in this article. GST Council, the CBIC has notified the Central Goods and Services Tax (Sixth Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019 to extend the Due Date for filing of Annual GST Return/ Reconciliation Statement in Form GSTR 9/ 9A/ 9C by 2 months, i.e. from 30 June 2019 to 31 Aug. 2019. visit the caportal blog and view official Press Release/ Notification of CBIC
GSTR-9 is to be filed on or before the 31st of December of the subsequent financial year. However, the Government has the power to extend this due date to such other date it considers necessary.
For instance:
- For FY 2017-18, the due date for filing GSTR 9 has been extended to 30th August 2019*.
- For FY 2018-19 the due date for filing GSTR 9 is 31st December 2019*.
