I want to known whether filing gstr 4 return of the quarter 4 details of invoice of purchases should be given or it is optional

no there is no need Govt has issued notification in this regard on 17 April

No need to give purchase details in GSTR-4 as same is not required as per Notification issued..

But from next qtr same is required.......
