GSTR 3B

Dear folks,
while filing GSTR-3B for april for the 1st time, it says earlier 3B returns hav not been filed, shall i need to file PY returns as i jav been registered in feb,2018.

You have to file GSTR 3B from date of registration Month. In your case you have to file GSTR 3B for FEB and MAR. And also you have to file GSTR 1.

GST returns are liable from effective date of approval of gst registration. So You must file the previous month returns in order to file current month returns. In addition to it, you may also need to pay late fee on it for belated filing of returns.
