GSTR 1 outward supply query

While filing 2nd quarter of GSTR 1 returns we have missed out of July and Aug sales details in GST 1 returns and only sept month sales was taken in the returns. In 3B all three months sales were taken on monthly.

so, how to rectify this mismatch to declare both of month of sale of July &Aug'20 in GSTR1.

Kindly suggest how we can resolve this changes.

File in next month Gstr1 and pay his liability with interest

We have showed correctly in 3B and made the tax payment but we missed two month sales only in GST 1 rather than adding 3 months sales.
so how liabilities will arise? apart from interest

Add those months bills in next quarter.
customer Will get credit only during the quarter.
no need to pay interest since u reported those bills in 3b and paid taxes.

Correct but due to recent changes in the Portal the sales reported in GST 1 will also automatically reflect in 3B in this case does the portal show any negative alert since adding those month sales in GSTR 1.
