GSTR-1 Filling penalty
please give the full information regarding the late filling of Gstr-1 and also give knowledge about any penalty is charged on late filling ?

Late Fees for not filing GSTR-1 is Rs. 50 per day of delay (Rs. 25 as per CGST Act and Rs. 25 as per SGST Act. The late fees will be charged from the date after the due date.
but at the time making the filling of Gstr-1 not demanding any penalty for late filling of Gstr-1 why ?
Late fee will be added in GSTR3B returns.
