GSTP certificate will be issued after passing examination of GSTP.

You have only filed application for GSTP enrollment, Once You will get the Certificate in form PCT 02 , you will eligible .
But As per proviso in Rule 83
Provided that no person enrolled as a goods and services tax practitioner shall be eligible to remain enrolled unless he passes such examination conducted at such periods and by such authority as may be notified by the Commissioner on the recommendations of the Council:

Hence have to pass exam.

Is all gst practitioner need to appear for the exam ?
as you mentioned about rule 83 right ?
so, what about them who is exempted under this exam, as it need to be registered.

NOBODY EXEMPTED ,,... EVERY ONE WHO HAS ENTROL HAS TO GIVE EXAM (KINDLY READ RULE 83)

DEAR SURAJ

THOSE WHO ENROL AS GRADUATE UNDER GSTP:

As per notification 3/2019 ct, the council has extended the 18 months to 30 months to pass the exam for those who has enrolled as TRP/STP

So the last attempt for TRP/STP is the exam held on Dec.2019 . Thereafter

the Graduate can appear for  the exam which is going to held in June-2020
