Hello,
our friend has a gst no as gst practitioner , his income is below 20lkhs, should they charge or paid gst on practice /consultant invoice ?

As there is no liability to get registration, But if he voluntary take GST Registration then he have to charge GST in there invoices and pay to Govt.

No if he is not is special category state then the limit is 20 lakhs and no need for mandatory registration but he can take voluntary
