filled march 2018 gst returns today. from April 2018 my business was closed. want to surrender gst now.is april to sep. nil return filling compulsary? can i surrender from now or from April 2019?

Yes it's mandatory to file returns till date of surrender of your registration.

And stock is treated as taken by proprietor or partner as per the category of person and should be shown in such return.
