Being a GST registered,service provider from Bengaluru, if we buy a laptop/Desktop/Mobile for business purpose from Chennai while staff was in Chennai.
Can we claim ITC??
Is it mandatory to get registration in Chennai to avail ITC??
As per GST provisions: Place of supply and location of provider is Chennai,they should have charged CGST and SGST since your staff physical lly went there and bought.
But when you buy online ,you can get ITC since they should charge IGST for interstate
