A CONTRACTOR REGISTERED AS WORKS CONTRACTOR REGISTERED UNDER RAJASTHAN VAT ACT AND PURELY DOING GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS WANTS TO MIGRATE TO GST. WHICH COMMODITIED HE HAS TO ADD IN HIS GST REGISTRATION.

works contract is basically a service known as supply of service in GST. Nothing needs to.be added select service as an option nd den u will get a drop down of works contract service.

The portal has launched a new option “services” under which you can select “works contractor” as commodity.
