Could you please anybody confirm,if GST registered business has started a new branch in same state,is it mandatory to inform the same to GST ? If so, how it will be informed?

You ll just add the details in Amendment section as "ADDITIONAL PLACE OF BUSINESS"...

You need to amend your plances of business as Additional Place of Businesses.
