GST registration Compulsory for Filing IT Return
Is GST registration compulsory for filing Income Tax Return for A.Y 2018-19 when assessee deals with Non GST Goods and if his Sale proceeds exceed RS 20 lakh in the last F.Y?

A.Y 2017- 2018 Gross Revenue from Sale of Paddy and Rice (not in Brand name) RS 31 Lacs and A.Y 2018- 2019 it is booked as RS 45 lacs. Is GST registration compulsory to file IT return in the A.Y 2018-2019.
no it is not mandatory to have gstin to file itr
If you have only non gst goods then reg not required. Even single invoice having taxable goods then reg mandatory because u crossed limit. GST not linked with INCOME TAX.
