Hi Neethi,
You can have 2 registrations in 1 state for different business or Different Segments of business.
You can opt Composition scheme as well as Regular scheme for your registrations, as they are considered as 2 different entities when you have Separate registration.

Hi Sourav,
You can take multiple registrations, only the last 3 digits will change.
for first registration 13th digit will be 1 and for 2nd registration it will show as 2 like wise it goes.

You can apply for 2 registration under the same state.
However you cannot opt for regular scheme or composition scheme together under same PAN.

The concept of business vertical has been done away with. Now you can take multiple registrations within one state even for the same business.
However both such registrations will be treated as separate persons.
Furthermore all registrations can either be regular or composite. Both cannot be used for separate registrations simultaneously under single PAN.
