If my client provide(based in India) market research service to Singapore based co. Receipt payment in foreign convertible currency and both are distinct person.
Questions as follow:
1. whether above service is export service?
2. Gst registration is compulsory in case of export of service? or Any limit for registration?
3. whether we need to obtain IEC code?
1) yes it is export of service
2) GST no. mandatory- as interstate supply
3) Not Mandatory- only in case want to claim Govt Export promotion Benefits.
