My client have two commercial building in two different states, his rent rental income reached 18 lac , now they want to take gstn , whether they may register any one state or they should register in both state, please clarify my doubt

usually turnover not exeeding 20 lakshs no need get registered under GST.But we can get registered if we wish.So as per CGST ACT 2017 he need to get registered in both the states seperatley under same pan number or with different pan numbers.
