My client has a composition licence to retail business. Now he want to start a Educational School. can he take a new gst licence for school with his same pan.

Yes he can take a different gstin but he will have to convert from composition to regular

The already registered in Composit scheme cannot have another registration in Regular scheme under same PAN (in term of Section 10 CGST Act )
Moreover composit dealer cannot provided services More than 10% of turnover or 5lac which ever is higher hence you have to convert to regular scheme for both business .
You just switch to Regular scheme from composition scheme & carry both business under one registration (As regular)

Agree with Pankaj Sir's view...
If a person is Registered under Composition Scheme, then he cannot register under Normal Scheme for same PAN Number.
If a person is Registered under Composition Scheme, then he cannot register under Normal Scheme for same PAN Number.
