sir iam a rental service provider i povide bulidings for rent purpose,
unfortunately my consultancy firm have registered me as composition dealer(which is not applicable from july 2017). I have not filed returns from july 17. i had withdrawn as composition dealer now, my query is on what rate i have to pay tax and file return, is their any alternative.
please help me in this regard.
Dear Harish,
If you have taken registration you have to pay tax @ 18% on rental income
But, if your aggregate turnover is below taxable limit and within the state, you need not to go for GST registration.
