Dear sir/mam,

we have two operating unit in Daman under single PAN and TIN No but seperate ECC registration, we hv received a single gst registration for principal unit, but for Unit-2 status showing awaited at aces portal. if we operate single unit then how to transfer cenvat and stock balance from additional unit to principal unit. pls advise wt we have two do.

if 2 units are in same state one registration is enough but you have to include the addresses of 2 units. if units are in different states u have to take separate registrations

thanks for your prompt reply sir,

but issue is if we operate single unit then how to merge cenvat balance and stock balances from our unit 2 to unit-1, actually we have lot of cenvat credit available in both the units.

also our 2nd unit under sale tax exemption (cst nil against c form). exemption is available up to Dec-2017 hence there is any provision like refund of SGST. our units in Daman.

pls advice .
