I am registered under service tax but I didn't get provisional id and password form service tax department I have applied new registration under GST act.
but m very much confused what I should do now for my service tax number which is still continuing with service tax department please advise..

no worry, your service tax registration automatically get converted to gstn. if you do not operate the same for 3 month s it will be cancelled automatically.
please contact your concern service tax department people and they will issue the provisional id for your existing service tax number. no need to apply for new. m Karthikeyan
you may take new registeration with your existing service tax registration no in GST
In GST registration window there is TAB to give information about existing registration detailes ..put service tax detain in the gst registration ..

if you are liable to service tax you first pay the same and submit st-3 return specifying the same. then keep quit for 3 months in the GST regime. registration s will automatically get cancelled. if any office r is authorised to veryfy your payments show st-3s and payments particulars. that's all.
