gst reg. cancellation

applied for cancellation of gst registration on 16.07.18.

But status is still showing as active on the GST portal...

Do I need to file Returns...??

From the date of sumitting GST cancellation you are under the preview of GST

But Upto this time we not get a clear idea about this so you just submit returns as nil for your safety

thank you sir
one of my client take gst in feb 2018 till now he dont file any return in that situation it will be cancel or not
