Whether a CA required to pass GST Practitioners exam?
Some people say it's not required. But I am a bit confused because of Rule 83 sub-rule 3 which provides "No person enrolled as GSTP shall be eligible to remain enrolled unless he passes such examination conducted at such periods and by such authority as may be notified".
Also, newly inserted Rule 83A talks specifically about exam for Sales tax practitioners and Tax return preparers.
So, what's the answer?
