My father is a GST practitioner, from last few months he has failed to keep the track of payments made in his personal bank account for which he has received the cash from his clients.
Now when he sat down to reconcile the payments, He is unable to trace the payments since the GSTIN portal is asking for both GSTIN Number & CPIN.
Although, I could find CPIN from the bank statements, it is practically difficult to fill out the GSTIN for my father to fill out each & every GSTIN on trial & error basis since he has close to over more than a 100 clients.
Kindly assist me, as to what could be done, so that I’m able to trace the payment to the requisite client.
