Please let us know last date of payment of GST for the month of March 2020 without interest.

More than 5 cr. ... please share if further notification has come after Notification No. 31 & 32/2020 – Central Tax . as lockdown extended for COVID 19 situation.

Q1). What is the due date for filing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of MARCH 2020 and payment of Tax without Late Fees and Interest for the Taxpayers having Aggregate Turnover more than Rs. 5 Crore ???

ANSWER : As per Notification No. 31/2020 -Central Tax, dated 03.04.2020 read with Notification No. 32/2020 - Central Tax, dated 03.04.2020, the due date for filing FORM GSTR-3B and payment of taxes for the month of MARCH 2020 without Late Fees and "INTEREST" for the persons having Aggregate Turnover of more than Rs. 5 crores is "5th MAY 2020 ( 05.05.2020 )". [ 15 days from the original due date i.e. 20.04.2020 + 15 = 05.05.2020 ].

From 06.05.2020 onwards, Reduced Interest @ 9% p.a. will be levied till the date of filing, provided the Return is filed by 24.06.2020. Kindly Note that no LATE FEES ( u/s 47 ) will be levied during this period i.e. 06.05.2020 to 24.06.2020.

Q2). Whether any Further Notification issued by CBIC regarding date extension after Notification No. 31/2020 - CT & Notification No. 32/2020 - CT, dated 03.04.2020, since the Lockdown has been further extended to May 3rd 2020 ???

ANSWER : "NO".

No further Notification has been issued yet by CBIC for further date extension. The dates as prescribed under Notification No. 31/2020 - CT and Notification No. 32/2020 - CT is still applicable as of now.
