If a proprietor firm registered under GST takes a rent from a partnership firm in which he is a partner then GST is applicable?

Yes GST is applicable as because there are 2 different businesses. Now the question is whether partnership firm is registered or not!

Then they will charge GST and proprietorship business will pay GST and avail ITC.
