GST on textile?

The picture would be clear only after the next GST Council meet on 18th and 19 th may .
In this meeting they would decide over such matter

It is not known whether textile shall be taxed under GST or not. It shall be known only after GST meeting in may. I expect full rate on branded garments, and may be concessional rate on unbranded garments. GST on textile sector shall be boon to textile export as all GST will become refundable at the time of export.
