mustard i am liable to charge 5 percent GST(2.5% SGST+2.5% CGST).

As per this concept there are double tax liability, can you please confirm on the actual tax liability position in this case and how the accounting entries will be passed ?

Therre is no double taxation. You will be charged 5% on RCM basis for the purchase from farmer and the same will be available as ITC. You will collect tax from the person to whom you are selling the Mustard and will pay the same by availing ITC.
you are not charge rcm on mustard because no gst on agriculture product
you are not charge rcm on mustard because no gst on agriculture product
please read chapter no 10 and 12

Oilseeds are not exempt and mustard falls under the category of oilseeds.

the rcm paid will be adjusted against supply of goods. rcm is chargeable when you purchase from un registered dealer subject to condition that the commodity purchased is liable for taxation. there is no condition that whether it's purchased from agriculturist or un registered. the condition. for levying RCM is that the goods was not subjected to tax when it was purchased by a registered person
those seed are brand and trademark who are fall in tax 5%%%.
