GST on Rent Under RCM

1.)I am registered under composition scheme under GST. i am paying rent of my shop Rs. 9000 Per Month. whether i am liable to pay Tax under RCM (my landlord is not registerd).
if liable so then what rate.
2.) Is the situation is differ when the rent is 12000 per month

Yes, you are liable to pay tax under RCM at gst rates instead of composition rate as the limit is Rs. 5000 per day.

2. 18% same. No more limit of Rental amount. But, GST Rate is 18% on Rent.

and You are RD(Compo) then you cant Take ITC the RCM Tax amount

if we are normal gst dealer then can we take ITC on gst of rent

Yes.... You can Take ITC on Rental paid.

If your landlord is regictered under GSt. He ll be issue Receipt of Voucher to you with taxable. You can take that tax amount as ITC. If the landlord is URD. Then you can pay GST under RCM. also you can reverse the Tax on next month
