One person has obtained a tender to run canteen in government hospital. He will pay Rs. 45000/- monthly to the hospital. He will sell food items in the canteen and will pay GST on the sell amount. But Does he need to pay GST on rent paid to the hospital in RCM or not?

In case of Service of Renting of immovable property supplied by govt. RCM is not applicable.
GST shall be applicable in forward Charge.

as I missed a point.
As per Serial no. 5A of Notification no. 13/2017 Central tax (Rate) you will have to pay GST under RCM.
Means RCM shall be applicable.
