I have taken GST number as on 16-oct-2018 but I have paying rent to landlord from 2008 to till date.....my query is
1)can i take this credit from July 17 to Sep 18 now
2)GST number is imp for that landlord?

1. No... ITC available from the date of Registration.
2. Yes... If the landlord is registered under GST then He must give Tax Invoice for the Rent with Your GSTIN in the Invoice.
