can you please clarify the provisions regarding gst on rent ?
is the slab of rs 20 lakhs is applicable to rent from residential property used for residential purpose ?

As residential property is not covered under GST no GST is applicable on rent on residential property. So 20 lakh limit has no meaning.
Only commercial property or residential properties in which commercial activity takes place has been covered.
