Gst on mithai shops

A person is having business of mithai shop? What's the rate he is liable to pay tax on?

also he sells through e-commerce portals such as Zomato and Swiggy?

please let me know the liability

Zomato and Swiggy will collect and pay GST to govt. In other cases 5% GST to be collected and paid to govt.

But for e commerce thing now the assessed is required to remit tax on that ?

and 5 percent without any itc right?

From 1st Jan onwards, ECO shall be liable to pay GST on restaurant services provided to customers through ECO.

And in addition to above reply ECO is required to pay tax in cash only . cannot adjust by credit ledger.

E commerce platform charges a lower rate. chk and revert back.
