one of my client is a private limited company having a business of transport and logistics. client has yet not Registered under GST.
My query is
1. if client provides service to URD is there any GST liability arising? and if such service to URD exceeds 20lakh client will be liable for registration, right?
2.If client is registered under GST and provides service to URD, then client has to pay GST under FCM, Right? at what Rate 5 or 12 percent?
GTA no need to register under GST if he is exclusively transporting goods where the total tax is required to be paid by the recipient under reverse charge basis (even if the turnover exceeds 20 lakhs). [Notification No. 5/2017- Central Tax dated 19/06/2017] and needs to charge gst if rcm not apply for opposite parties
