dear sir/mam,
employer taken canteen service for its employee but he raised canteen bill on himself (every employee canteen deduction monthly total amt.) & paid gst 18% to govt.
it's compulsory please suggest me.
Yes if its deducted from employees salary have to raise Bill . The consolidated tax invoice can be Issued in the name of Employee.
As per Notification 46/2017 CT (r) The rate of GST is 5% not 18%
