Dear Team,

My client has his own business and is registered under GST. He has also purchased a residential building in the name of the company and has given the building on rent to residents.
Is he liable to declare the rental income under GST?

Please help. Thanks.

No gst will b applicatie on dwell residential but if rent is given for commercial purpose gst will apply

No, GST will on rent apply because residential property has been given for residential purpose only.
