GST on advance bill amount

i got RS.8000 advance against sales bill dated 12 sept and I am give sales bill to registered delear after few days from advance received within 30 sept. Is GST applicable on advance.

GST applicable on advance...GST invoice has to be provided to customer for advance.GST to be paid as per due date.rate of GST will be as per that HSN code of service or material for which advance taken...

At the time of receipt of the advance you have to issue Advance Voucher in which you have to show CGST/ SGST /IGST details. At the time of supply of goods you have to deduct advance received by you in invoice on balance you have to pay GST. Same is required to be pd on or before due date of filing of Return.
