We are a Plastic Manufacturing Company , which is register under GST act

This Month (August,2017) we have purchase to our COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS & GST NO. a MARUTI SUZUKI car from XYZ Co. (Register under GST).

Can We take Full GST Input Tax Credit for Capital Goods (I.e Motor Car)

ITC can be claimed if your company uses the car for this purposes

the vehicle is used for the supply of other vehicles or conveyances (example: Lorries used to transport scooters, cars etc)
the rule shall not apply if the vehicle is used for transportation of passengers
the vehicle is used for teaching training on driving, flying, navigating such vehicle or conveyances
the vehicle is used for transportation of goods

If your company uses this car for directors then ITC cannot be availed
