I have a client who is working as an agent.
The principal raises service invoice to the consumer (B2C).
The agent gets a commission on the sale by the principal.
my quarry is whether this agent is supposed to get registered or not and threshold limit applicable or not.

Yes. he has to be registered compulsory as per Section 24(vii) of the CGST act.
